Time goes so fast as well as the progress of pop music. Pop music has passed of developing along with this era changing. It is a combination of various styles influenced by the evolving music forms. It rolls over from generation to generation into its current form. In this way, pop music has taken so many forms through each decade to reflect the musical preference of a particular generation. That music generation is started from the era of 1950s rock and roll until to pp music to Synth Pop and more recently Indie Rock now days in 2012.

Around the era of 50’s

Do you ever know about Elvis Presley? I think most of us know him from his music contribution in the world. As we know, Elvis presley was one of famous legend singer of rock n roll in 1950. He had boomed in the year of 1955-59. His musical style tended to emerge rock n roll and frequently combination between rock n roll music and pop music. In addition, his music moved away from straight blues and country songs towards pop songs constructed with distinctive hooks or catchy chorus.

 

In the late 1950s early 60’s, there was an explosion on the music Pop scene because of a certain band called the Beatles they started a genre of music called Mersey beat however this can all be originated from early 1950’s rock and roll. They offered teens of the day something new, loud and largely independent and unique of the music before them. However, this new era of music obviously had influenced such as jazz, blues and American gospel. This is one of the greatest band in that era.
